MIC Awarded Carbon Champion mark

MIC is proud to announce that it has been awarded the third and highest CCCA Mark of Achievement for our work in spreading best practice in sustainability throughout Camden this year.

The Carbon Champion mark is awarded to organisations in Camden, or MOA_carbon_champ_MICworking in Camden, that are taking the lead and demonstrating to others how to succeed at carbon management and reduction. Holder of the Carbon Champion mark lead by example and support others on an ongoing basis.

To achieve the Better Climate for Camden ‘Carbon Champion’ mark, an organisation must have completed the following steps:

  • Met the criteria for the ‘Going Green’ and ‘Cutting Carbon’ marks.
  • Be regularly demonstrating leadership by sharing knowledge or experiences with others, through the services that they deliver, by working with partners, and so on. Examples of leadership include: providing environmental expertise; becoming a written case study; helping to lead workshops with the Better Climate for Camden Team; providing resources, running events; speaking at an event; and so on.
